Aluminum rebate sidewalls
You can also choose to seal the walls of your porch. Aluminum walls are maintenance-free and also provide enough shelter.

On Friday, July 3, 2026, the veranda was installed by three skilled mechanics,
The technicians worked very carefully and neatly.
Furthermore, they were very polite.
We had requested various quotes from multiple companies; the quote from De Vak appealed to us the most due to, among other things, the general terms and conditions.
In mid-January, we drove to Eindhoven to view the material following the quote; we were received very kindly, and the conversation went very well.
In February 2026, the survey was carried out by 2 expert persons.
The conversations were good again.

Choose privacy with side walls
Besides offering advantages in terms of shelter and insulation, sidewalls also provide more privacy. Especially if you choose aluminum sidewalls, because you can't see through them. Especially when your veranda is adjacent to a garden path or close to the property boundary, this can be very nice. You create a quiet, protected corner where you can relax, work or meet with family and friends.
If you choose polycarbonate, you will still benefit from added privacy but retain light. Depending on the version, clear or opal, the view from outside can be limited without your porche feeling dark. This makes polycarbonate a good middle ground when you want to combine shelter and daylight. So with sidewalls you decide how much openness or closure suits your situation.
